Dear Parents/Carers,
Welcome back! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year! All of our children have settled in beautifully and we are all ready for exciting learning this term.
Clubs will start next week:
Judo on Wednesday morning at 8.00am (£3.80p per week in advance for ten sessions)
French on Thursday lunchtime
Art on Monday 15th January (not next week)
for a new group
Recorder on Tuesday 3.15pm ? 4.00pm
There will be Judo workshops for yr1/2 on Wednesday too for all children so please come in long sleeved tops and jogging bottoms if possible!
Please remember P.E. Kit for next week so that all children can enjoy their entitlement to Games and P.E. throughout the week.
We have a PTFA Bingo night on Friday 19th January ? book the night out for that week and look out for more information soon.
A reminder that all Dinner Money is due on Monday and not during the week - £1.75 per day or £8.75 for the whole week.
We will have to say a sad farewell to Jackie Bloomfield next week. She is our School Family Link Worker and has made a considerable difference to our attendance percentage with her help and support for families in need. We wish her all the best in the north of the country where it is very cold and snowy!!!
Unfortunately Miss Beesley has to go to hospital to have her tonsils removed on the 12th January and will be away recuperating until Monday 29th January. Miss Rita Kenny will be teaching Class 7 in the interim period.
We welcome Miss Helen Creasey as Class 4 teacher temporarily whilst Mrs Hughes is away. We also welcome back Mrs Stevens to Class 3 who will job share initially with Miss Brent.
Good luck with your New Year Resolutions???maybe ?I will attend all PTFA events?!!!
Best Wishes,
